Farms & Artisans
Our partner farms and local businesses are carefully selected for their regenerative and agro-ecological practices as well as their commitment to local communities and to education.
Healdsburg, CA
Medium Farm is a small, one acre farm growing mixed veggies, fruit, flowers and herbs on the south side of the Russian River just outside of Healdsburg. Our name comes from "The Medium is the Message" by Marshall McLuhan, in which he argues that each form of media deeply influences the messages it carries. In agriculture, the soil is the medium, and we endeavor to listen to (see, notice, decipher) the message it conveys.
We mostly sell directly to restaurants, from Geyserville down to San Francisco, focusing on growing specialized crops sought out by chefs.
